Core Skills and Abilities

Experience implementing and developing web based GIS applications

Billy Ashmall has over ten years experience developing enterprise software solutions and over eight years engineering geospatial software solutions. Strong focus on usability design and backend capabilities.

Outstanding problem solving and strategic abilities

It is very enjoyable to me spending time creating solutions for a real present day problem. As a software engineer I take real world problems and find ways to solve them through software engineering.

Unique passion for code with an intense focus on refactoring and reuse.

Developing software code is a form of art that takes time and dedication. As I build software I compile libraries of reusable code which makes future projects more streamline.

Billy likes to have fun

What I do

Billy Ashmall helps government officials, managers, and all sorts of people in the developing nations make decisions by providing Earth observations and predictive models based on data from orbiting satellites via the internet. Billy is a software engineer which means he is the link between the scientific data produced by the science engineers and web pages that serve the developing nations and inevitability entire world.
